Clients are the retail organisations that use MUZE. Each client has its own stores, employees, products, and entitlement rules. This page is only available to Administrators.
Navigate to Clients from the sidebar under Organisation.

Creating a client

1

Open the create dialog

Click Create on the Clients page.
2

Enter the details

  • Code: a unique short code
  • Name: the client’s display name
  • Address fields: address lines, city, province, postal code, country
  • Contact fields: phone and email
  • Entitlement Enforcement: leave off for free-flow behaviour (the default) or toggle on for strict, phase-by-phase allocation. Free flow ignores the initial/replacement split, so employees see every product in their matched rule set and any excess becomes employee-paid. Strict mode shows only the products that apply in the employee’s current phase and blocks orders that exceed the company-paid allocation. See Entitlement engine.

Save

Click Save to create the client.

Editing a client

  1. Find the client in the table.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update the fields and click Save.

Deactivating a client

Deactivating sets the client to inactive without removing it; historical data is preserved.
  1. Select the client with its checkbox.
  2. Click Deactivate in the bulk action toolbar.

Permanent deletion

Permanent Delete removes the client and all associated data. This cannot be undone.
Permanent deletion removes all stores, employees, orders, and other data belonging to the client. Use with caution.
Bulk operations (deactivate or permanently delete) send a single request to the server, which avoids rate-limit problems on large selections.
